HOW YOU CAN HELP SAVE THE ART OF HANDWRITING THIS CHRISTMAS

The art of handwriting is dying, apparently: do a google search and you will find endless links to blogs, articles, essays and eulogies all confirming this sad news.

And so: what are you going to do about it? In an age when the presents under the Christmas tree are invariably digital gadgets of one sort or another, why not give the young some good old traditional personalised stationery? Likely as not, this will be the first personalised stationery they have ever been given! The thrill of getting your own cards or writing paper with your name on it is very special: it will make the whole chore of the thank you letters a far lighter one, if not indeed a pleasure.

On our website we have sections devoted to both Children's Stationery and Gift Stationery:  in both you will find a variety of styles and ideas for Christmas gifts, with an exciting use of hot foiling to print on darker coloured papers and boards, which have proved to be particularly popular. The stationery is designed to be fun to use and informal in character, with many motifs and borders to choose from.

To  find out more, please browse through our Personal Stationery section: you will also find sections there on more conventional writing paper and correspondence cards. If you wish to discuss anything, please call us on 01285 659797 or email sales@letterpress.co.uk and we will do everything we can to help.

How to write a great letter April 5, 2017

In this modern age of emails, text and direct messaging, even Snapchat, you would think that writing a letter is becoming a lost art and one that many people simply don’t know how to do.
