Our Top 10 Wedding Blogs

Couples these days have a number of ways to get inspired and create their perfect yet truly personal wedding day that says so much about them both. Beautiful personalised luxury wedding invitations and stationary obviously form part of this but it’s so much more than that. There is so much to think about and so much to plan from choosing the perfect wedding dress and the wedding venue to table plans and wedding favours.

Here at The Letter Press of Cirencester we’ve decided to find the top 10 wedding blogs out there that our couples told us helped them plan and develop their perfect day and ones their friends and family will remember for years and years to come.

Some of the wedding blog sites are national favourites packed full of information for all types of weddings. Some are a little more specific to our style and location, like the Cotswolds. The Cotswolds inspires many types of wedding and some local brides found them more useful than the larger ones.

We hope you find the inspiration you’re looking for with our favourite wedding blogs, we certainly loved reading them.

WeddingSparrow.co.uk

A wedding blog for the stylish bride, Wedding Sparrow is a multi award winning premier wedding resource and inspirational website for brides all over the world. They champion high quality vendors and artisans and love being involved in the wedding community. Pretty is what they are obsessed with. They’re a team of creative bloggers and general wedding-lovers dedicated to bringing you the best.

RockMyWedding.co.uk

Probably the biggest and possibly even the best wedding blog out there, Rock My Wedding combined with its many different websites, inspire at the click of a few buttons.

The site was launched in October 2009 by Charlotte O’Shea, a newly-wed with a passion for pretty weddings and the realisation that UK brides would benefit from a frequently updated online website featuring achievable and unique Big Day inspiration. Their aim is to bring soon-to-be-brides a wealth of ideas through fresh and innovative content, daily “real wedding” features and access to the industry’s most desirable vendors.

WeddingsByNicolaAndGlen.com

Not really a wedding blog in itself, but one of the top wedding photography blogs based in the Cotswolds. Not too surprisingly Weddings By Nicola & Glen is used to inspire through photography. Their shared interest in photography gave them the excuse to set up business in the Cotswolds, one of the most beautiful parts of the world (their words not ours, although we do agree) with their chocolate Burmese cat, Hemingway. They are wedding photographers, avid travellers and obsessed with documenting the most beautiful love stories where they capture soul mates shining their brightest because of their love. We love their photography.

WantThatWedding.co.uk

Although this wedding blog initially looks quite commercialised, Want That Wedding is a great source for inspiration and ideas if you look a little closer, and the lovely Sonia runs it. She states weddings absolutely inspire her and all that is pretty and romantic. Her style is quite eclectic, and so she has a broad range of what she finds beautiful and inspiring. Her favourites are all things glamorous, particularly vintage 1920s and 1930s.

ShopCotswolds.co.uk

Again this site is not really a blog, nor is it specifically wedding related, but it does have some great articles for wedding resources local to the Cotswolds. Shop Cotswolds can seem a little commercial but cut away the adverts and go to the wedding section to find some great local information, inspiration and easily accessible ideas for many different types of weddings.

How to write a great letter April 5, 2017

In this modern age of emails, text and direct messaging, even Snapchat, you would think that writing a letter is becoming a lost art and one that many people simply don’t know how to do.
