Planning the perfect Christmas Party

October 31, 2016

Well … It’s now November, Hallowe’en is over and Guy Fawkes night is on the horizon. And as soon as it does a glaze comes over the Christmas planners of the country as they start to plan for the festive season.

There’s those who love it and those that find it a chore. But whatever sort of Christmas planner you are, make life easy and get a plan together and follow it. It makes the whole process so much more enjoyable and hopefully you’ll be the life and should of the party.

Food and Drink

It’s a major part of Christmas that cannot be left until the last minute. If you like shopping online, or even if you don’t, keep en eye out for emails from your local food suppliers to find order reservation dates. Once they are announced they go quickly. Reserve a delivery slot as soon as you can. You don’t have to complete your order or add everything you need at that point, you just need to reserve the delivery slot. Then you can add your food and drink nearer the time, once your plans are more settled. But there will be items that can’t be delivered and so you always need a plan to go food shopping for those little extras and those things you’ve forgotten. Plus it always gets you into the Christmas spirit looking at all the wonderful products designed for festive indulgence. But with the bulk of your shopping all sorted you can be the one that wanders around the aisles in a relaxed state picking up the few bits and bobs you need.

Festive Entertaining

We all love to entertain and be entertained. And Christmas is that perfect time of year to do that. Friends and families get together and make wonderful parties and planning here is obviously essential. People’s diaries get full up around the big day so you need to pick a date and send out party invitations in time. That means the invitations have to be ordered in advance. Giving time for printing and posting. But why go to all the fuss when you can just invite everyone by a quick text or email. Well you want them to come to your party don’t you? And that means inviting your guests in style and letting them know the sort of party you’re planning. After all you’ll want your party to be the one everyone remembers this Christmas. And the one everyone wants to come, so that means they have to be invited early.

Here’s some wonderful Christmas party invitations, all of them can be personalised to suit your needs, whether that be a Boxing Day lunch, New Years’ Eve Drinks party or a fancy dress get together for fun.

Invite them to a New Years Eve's party for years to come.

A classic At Home inviation - you just can't beat them for invittaing family and friends in style. Perfect for that informal party at home. embleshed with a Christmas pudding, Reindeer, Chrstmas tree, Snowman ot your very own festive motif.

Go all the way and have the big man himeslf on therre swooshing down delivering presents on this fun festive party invitation.

Boxing day is the perfect way to see all those friends and family youshould have seen more over the year. Invite them in true style

Obviously I’ve missed the big day itself out with this planning guide but these days Christmas last so much longer than just the big day itself.

Here’s hoping you all have fabulous festive fun at your Christmas party!

How to write a great letter April 5, 2017

In this modern age of emails, text and direct messaging, even Snapchat, you would think that writing a letter is becoming a lost art and one that many people simply don’t know how to do. But actually it’s not. As digital technologies take over, well almost everything, we can see that trends are moving back towards more traditional values. Music, once it was vinyl, then tape, then CD, then MP3 players, and now streaming, such as Spotify, but what’s growing exponentially? It's vinyl again. The same with jigsaws and colouring books away from computer games. The pleasure and sense of achievement of creating something yourself is becoming hugely popular and letter writing is once again seen as an emerging trend.
